We were asked to communicate the value of Bragi by creating a new brand mark, a set of information graphics, a launch website page, and to give guidance on brand and marketing strategies.
Bragi is a SaaS product owned and created by Cortex Technologies LTD. This distinction is important as it informs the type of brand mark we’ll develop. When we are designing for a single-product offering and we have found greater success by focusing on a clear value proposition. This is because the logo can be literal device to anchor for all other assets. In contrast, a business offering with a wide variety of products or services might require a brand mark that communicates broader values, vision, or heritage. While those companies might emphasise the why, we want to emphasise the what—and that process begins with thoroughly researching the product.
Research.
Our research began by understanding how Bragi interacts with a variety of rigid and disparate systems, ultimately enabling a flow of information.
Data Sources: Pulling from various inputs including Source Systems, OLTP databases, and flat files such as XLS, CSV, DAT, and JSON.
Data Warehouse: Data converges into a Central repository, accompanied by tailored, Client-specific data models.
Consumers: These refined models empower users to generate powerful BI outputs, comprehensive Analytics Reports, and flexible exports in formats like XLS, CSV, DAT, and JSON.

Brand Mark.
Brand Mark Fundamentals:
The Mark consists of a simple geometric design with a clear visual hierarchy. At its centre is a bold circular element composed of a solid inner circle surrounded by a larger circular ring. Flanking this central component on either side are two vertical rows of three evenly spaced dots. The design employs symmetry, balance, and simplicity, suggesting precision, connectivity, and focus. This graphic style is versatile and easily recognisable, making it practical for various applications across digital and print media.
Brand Mark Subtext:
The design reflects how Bragi manages data clearly and effectively, reflecting the flow diagram above.
This mean every circle in the has a defined purpose.
-
Two concentric circles depict the unified Data Warehouse and Modelling.
-
Three circles on the left symbolise multiple Data Sources.
-
Three circles on the right illustrate the diversity of data outputs.
Brand Colour.
The logo uses a carefully chosen colour palette designed to clearly communicate the key qualities of a data warehouse and data modelling business. Each colour represents specific attributes relevant to technical accuracy, user clarity, innovation, and practical growth:

Light Blue (#51C9FF): A clear and bright shade of blue indicating reliability, transparency, and precision. It highlights trust and accuracy, crucial for effective data management and structured analytics.
-

-
Gradients: Representing Flow of Data and Ideas
Using gradients between these colours visually illustrates the continuous movement of information and ideas in data modelling and data warehouse processes. Gradients highlight smooth transitions and connections between different data points, clearly communicating the integration and dynamic nature of data analytics workflows.

Bespoke Font.
